Choosing output
A 100W pulsed system can suit small parts and lighter cleaning. A 300W system offers greater throughput potential when similarly configured. Larger production areas may call for a higher output system or a different removal process.
Pulsed or continuous wave
Pulsed systems are often selected where controlling heat input matters. A high power continuous wave system may suit broad, heavy steel surfaces that tolerate more heat. Application testing establishes the right fit.

Selection and operating notes
- Cleaning speed depends on pulse energy, optics, scanning parameters, coating thickness and the material. Wattage alone does not establish throughput.
- Laser cleaning removes surface material; it does not repair corrosion pits or replace missing metal. Incorrect settings can alter or damage the finish. Test a representative area first.
- Class 4 laser equipment requires trained operators, a controlled work area, appropriate laser protective equipment and fume management.
